uAvionix AV-HSI PMA for certified aircraft enables essential course and glideslope guidance for ILS (Instrument Landing System) and Localizer Performance with Vertical Guidance (LPV) approaches.

Designed to interface with most panel-mounted GPS navigators, it utilizes three ARINC 429 channels (two receive, one transmit) to relay navigation data to the AV-30. This enables the AV-30 to display accurate lateral and vertical guidance during GPS and ILS approaches, enhancing situational awareness and approach precision.

Includes AV-HSI Installation kit.

uAvionix AV-HSI | FAA-PMA Certified

The AV-HSI is a powerful navigation interface hub designed to display course and glideslope guidance on connected AV-30-C instruments. It supports precision GPS and ILS approaches and synchronizes key cockpit settings across multiple displays.
Equipped with 3 ARINC 429 channels (2 receive, 1 transmit) and 4 serial ports, the AV-HSI connects with most major GPS and NAV/COMM units. It acts as a central hub—distributing navigation data, barometric settings, transponder codes, heading bug, OAT, autopilot modes, and more across all connected AV-30-Cs.
When paired with an AV-Link, the system enables seamless distribution of traffic data, CO alerts, and firmware updates to every AV-30-C in the chain.
Supports both GPS and VHF nav sources—either combined or standalone. For installations requiring multiple GPS navigators, separate AV-HSIs and AV-30-Cs are needed for full redundancy.
